Solita C. Roberts reflecting with her journal

Most women aren't short on confidence. They're carrying stories that were never theirs.

We pick up unwritten rules early, from family, from school, from the first job that told us to tone it down, and we keep wearing them long after they stop fitting. Now filters and AI images are adding new ones.

You can see these stories in how we dress, how we speak up, and how often we wait to be invited. My work starts with the story, and helps women build the self-trust to advocate for themselves.

Gutsy Move: Rewriting the Rules You Can't Stop Questioning but Keep Living By

An interactive keynote that helps women name the unwritten rules they keep questioning but still live by, and make one gutsy move toward the story they actually want.

Gutsy Move is a warm, interactive keynote designed to move women from recognition to action.

Through story, reflection and audience participation, women name the rules shaping how they show up, see what those rules are costing them, and choose the one they're ready to rewrite, at work and in life.

About the experience

This experience is designed for organizations that want their women to show up with more confidence, clarity and self-trust. Whether it's an ERG, a leadership program or a full conference, Gutsy Move gives women a shared language for the stories holding them back, one they keep using long after the session ends.

Delivered in person or virtually, as a keynote or an interactive workshop, and tailored to your audience, theme and time.

From the series

The story we were handed, and the one we get to write.

On The Stories We Wear, every unwritten rule meets its rewrite.

The story

Don't be too much.

The rewrite

You don't have to make yourself smaller to belong.

Hi, I'm Solita

I moved from Antigua with one suitcase and a story about not being enough.

I spent fifteen years in banking, executive support and corporate life before I built Style to Impact. Along the way I learned that the way we show up on the outside is almost always telling a story about the inside. Today I help women read that story, and rewrite it.

Step into The Fitting Room

Which stories are you ready to rewrite?

We've all stood in a fitting room, looking in the mirror and asking, does this still fit me? The Fitting Room is that same honest moment for the stories you've been wearing about yourself. Step inside for The Stories We Wear newsletter and your free Story Rewrite Guide, so you can take off what no longer fits and try on a story that feels like you.
