Why do you focus on the stories women carry?
Because I carried one too. When I moved from Antigua to Atlanta in 2019, I brought a story that told me I'd be seen as less than without a degree or a long list of accolades. I learned that most women aren't short on confidence. They're living by unwritten rules they never chose, like don't be too much, play it safe and wait your turn. My work, as an Identity & Self-Trust Speaker, starts with those stories, because that's where real change begins.
How is your talk different from a typical confidence or empowerment talk?
It isn't a pep talk that fades by Monday. Instead of telling women to be more confident, I help them name the specific rules shaping how they show up, see what those rules are costing them, and choose one to rewrite. Women leave with language and a next step they can actually use, at work and in life.
Will you tailor the session to our audience and event theme?
Yes, every time. Before your event, we talk about who will be in the audience, what they're navigating right now and what you want them to walk away with. I then shape the stories, examples and activities around your ERG, campus or conference theme.
What will our audience actually do during the session?
Participate. My sessions are warm and interactive, with storytelling, guided reflection and moments where women recognize themselves in each other's stories. No one is put on the spot, and the energy in the audience shifts because women realize they aren't alone.
Is this a style or fashion talk?
No. I'm the founder of Style to Impact, and clothing is one of the places where inherited stories show up. My talks focus on identity, self-trust and self-advocacy. How we dress is just one of the clues that helps women see the story they're living by.
What happens after the event?
The conversation keeps going. Attendees can download the free Story Rewrite Guide to keep working through their stories, and they're invited to join The Fitting Room for ongoing insights from The Stories We Wear.
Do you speak in person, virtually and outside Atlanta?
Yes. I'm based in Atlanta, Georgia, and I speak at events across the United States, in person or virtually. Every talk can be delivered as a keynote, interactive workshop, panel or fireside chat.
What do you need from us on the day?
For in-person events, a microphone and a screen for slides. For virtual events, a reliable platform such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams. We'll confirm all the details together after booking, so the day runs smoothly.
How do I book you, and what does it cost?
Share your event date, format, audience and speaking budget through the booking form on this page. Fees depend on the format, length and location of your event, and I reply to every inquiry within two business days.
